I have been adjusting my ride height and can;t seem to get it together, my downstops front and rear are have the same measurement respectively, but when I would put my shocks back in and all the electronics then the dilema would start, the right side where the battery sits is always higher than the left side( rear )same with the front-- any advice? also to keep this thread going

How did your tyres wear? Id expect a bit of coning with only 1 degree of camber. I usually set for 1.5, as the .5 makes a big difference where i race. Also purple all round? was it taily or neutral? Truth be told, i havent tried a heavy spring on the rear, only tried different grades of soft spring, and it handles awesome.
Also no droop on the rear? Did it understeer a little on entry into the corner? I run with 1-2mm of rear droop, about the same for the front. Im going to try less front droop and see what happens.
Also try the G6 protoform body, its great for carpet and foams
Give us more information, where was it good, where was it bad, and what it needs.

I have been running mine a lot on carpet with foams, and I like either purple AE springs up front with copper in the rear..or Copper up front with reds in the rear, but with a yellow swaybar on the front. I ran this with Jaco Purples and Plaids...the car drove better than me.
I have close to -2 deg. camber to get my tires to wear flat...anything less and they coned.

I also ran with some Jaco Dbl. Pink/Orange and Dbl. pinks and did not like the car at all...this car generates extra traction with the chassis flex, and that combo made the car way too twitchy and aggressive.
I run 60/40wt oil..otherwise everything else is kit settings...very cool and well handling car.
Droop seems great at 1.5mm rear and 1mm front
I've run with both the Losi Alfa and the Parma Alfa...both seem good. The Parma rotates a little better. I think I am going to try a Carpet 3.0 next.

I check that everything is setup exactly the same side to side. You start with backing off the droop screws, then adjust the sway bar mounts so its equal on both sides while the chassis is sitting on a flat surface(this is without the shocks on of course), then double check the hsock lengths are the same, then add the shocks and your tyres. Adjust the spring preloads to set your ride height, then adjust the droop screws to limit the droop. If you do this all symetrically, you should have a problem. I dont actually check the ride height at the side of the chassis, as i start with the chassis sitting on a flat surface, and ensure everything is the same left to right from there. The last thing on my agenda is to check for tweak. I adjust this out through droop screws (other adjust this through spring preload) and it seems to work fine

the car handled great on power, and held a great line consistently but had barely any off power steering. the only problem i have with the car is the weight and the flexing towers. i removed the battery strap and mounts, then taped the battery in to save weight.
changes i am going to make are carbon fiber towers, a mazda 6 body and 57mm foams (plaid / purple). i am probable going to tighten the rear diff a little also.
universals and sways are next on the list
