Xray T4 '13

I have mixed feelings about the suspension holders on the T4'14.
Although the car seems an improvement there are fewer settings available, as with the old car I could use any width shim I wanted to get the exact toe etc I was after.
Don't forget, there have been changes to the chassis etc on the new car so flex points are slightly different as well.

At least you understand me.

If you want the new style of holders but without all the Xray expense I would suggest the Reflex Racing conversion, their RX4 kit.

P.S. You can't use the new T4'14 holders on the old T4 chassis as holes are in the wrong place.

Dear anyone:
As i race always on tight corners track with little few high speed corners, i just feel the cars of other brands with conventional long length shocks run better seems be more reactive on curves.
Do somebody think that i should try change with aftermarket long shock tower of Raceberry to run long shocks(eg:tamiya) and springs(eg:HPI) on T4 2013?
Best regards

No. Try the softest springs you can get, and lighter shock oil. You need to be more specific on what, exactly, the car you have is doing, vs others. Rolls more? Has more steering? Lose or tight in the rear?

I cant say anything about the Arrowmax T4 topdeck, but i have ran the arrowmax T3'12 one. No problem with it...The weave was slightly different, maybe gave the '12 more flex. Kept it on the car till i sold it never put the stock one on again..

My friend suggest me to use 3 holes piston instead of 4 holes, maybe even try thicker oil which i usually use 35wt oil.
And i want to try use long length tower due mostly front runners are using TCXX and BD7

My car has got problem in steering in tight corner, steering transition, and huge understering on highspeed curves.

Assuming you are measuring droop as described in the manual, try going to 5.5 or 6 in front droop, it should help with more steering in the high speed sweepers.
Most 35wt oil is around 450CST, I believe that's too heavy for the T4, and going lighter, even to 400 will help in transition speed as well.

Dropping your rear diff oil to about 2k should increase that low speed steering by quite a lot, and increase your transition speed.

About downstop i just can adjust to 6 due my gauge doesn't have 0.5 step.
Not quite sure of gear diff 2K, due whenever i use 5k it gaves me more confidence but not when i change to 3k, anyway i will try all of them.
How about to try all 2.3 spring?
Can anybody tell me if worth to try RIDE softests short spring?
Best regards

I'll agree that going to 5k would make the car easier to drive, increasing confidence, but for me it typically kills low speed steering (and transition speed) too much, maybe find another way to gain that confidence.
It's possible you can try thinner shock oil as described above and gain what you need, so try the diff change last.
