Don't be afraid to try the higher ride height, just remember to adjust the droop to compensate.

Of course it will be scratched, but anyone here had adjusted similar height, isn't it?

Low blocks refers to the inner hinge pin mounts theirs a low (.) ,mid (•), and a high (') . the higher u go the less the car will lean in the corners which in my opinion takes away traction .
I guess i will keep use mid, due low is just for large tracks

My friend told me this too

Depends on the track, everytime the chassis makes contact with the ground the suspension isn't allowed to do it's job.

You might find that by raising the ride height you can have better cornering speed.
It's a simple adjustment that you can test very easily.

Jlfx has taken my junk car to his pits many times and returned it to me a different machine. He is one of the FAST guys that isn't afraid to think outside the box in order to tune for track conditions. If he took the time to post it up on here its worth trying for sure.

No. They are waiting for the top decks to ship them.

Damnit. I guess I won't be seeing mine anytime soon then. Wish I could change shipping to rush.

Christian, is there any way I can expedite and speed up the shipping process on the new rad chassis?

Man, be patient. There's only so much he can do.

Besides, he said he already received the top deck and is shipping out the preorders on Monday. I'm sure you'll get an email from them when your chassis ships. You'll probably know if your order shipped before any of us here on RcTech does.

Just calm down and be patient. You PREORDERED something. That means you don't get anything until he actually gets stock of it.

OK, got a bunch of time on the car today and was able to swap out the stock chassis for the RX4 v1 chassis that I have.

From the start my car was very good for me. I had been working on the setup the past couple weeks and had it working very well on our low-mid grip carpet track with a good balance of steering throughout and rear end stability. In practice before Q1 today I could lay down a string of 9.1x laps so I used that as my base point.

For Q1 I swapped in the RX4 using the widest front blocks and the kit 3° rear block settings. The car felt, well, just like the stock chassis but I struggled to get back into the 9.1's making me believe that given todays setup the stock chassis was a bit better. But, I have not changed one thing since swapping the chassis so I'm not saying the stock version is better, just that maybe I need to tune the RX4 a bit more. I don't think I could go faster with the stock chassis and I think I may be able to with this one given some time. It certainly was not a miracle maker for my lap times but I do like the fit and finish of it and how nicely the arms fit the blocks. I'm going to play around a bit more and see where I can get with it. For now, it's certainly no worse than the stock chassis with a really nice secure arm mounting.
