How much rubbing do you guys allow? None?
built as per kit
5mm ride height front
5.5-6 rear
5mm downstops/droop all around
and i am rubbing slightly on the motor side, it is a fast sweeper at the end of the straight causing it i guess.
the car is fast & giving great lap times

I only do something against it when I notice that it slows me down (in the last minutes of the run).
But normally I allow the car to rub enough for a slight build up of rubber on the edges of the chassis.

Ran mine today . I'm happy to say, the only issue I had was the loose nut behind the wheel . Tho I did run better than ever before . Have me a new airtronics MT-4 coming ,was having a glitch with a full grid in the main...

Just need to paint the body! Don't make fun of my battery, it works well.
I have the Yeah Racing Tornado fan too. Its a good fan, but I had to mount it on some spare lexan and used the motor guard holes to secure the lexan piece. Temporary until I find something more secure.
First time building a new Xray, went together very well. Slight weepage on the diff but I think I may have dislodged that super thin O-ring when putting together the diff. Swapped in the thicker bumper, T2 bumper hardware. Running the asphalt setup but front seems very soft still...

Screw an Xray servo post into the spare hole in the laysaft mount, fix the fan to that, it won't budge

or shoegoo the fan directly onto the chassis. Always works well and easy to remove if needs be!
