The next 12 days cannot come soon enough for my next pay to buy this 2016 model.

I seen the aluminum/carbon servo mount offered with the kits, was that just some online stores for the initial release only? According to the manual and exploded view of the parts looks like a plastic servo mount.

Car was a little less edgie and more consistent on our low grip track. Its a 3 second change so something to try in low grip.

I run the diffs with kyosho p5 o rings without the outer metal shim. No leak and smooth.
Yokomo black 500gob o rings with the outer still in also works.

This wide bumper is called Front Upper Bumper Plate Part # is BD-001W. Does this go in between the BD-001 "front bumper" and the B7-001FS urethane foam bumper support? I wouldn't think on top of it as there is the top piece of the BD-001 set.

got to race the 16 again today, put the car on track and it was dialled ,didnt change it from the wet race a few weeks back,we started with a wet/damp track which slowly dried out,i was the 1st to stick some slicks on in rd 3 after rd 4 id done enough for pole,2 wins and a 3rd(rd by rd format),won the first a final and 3rd in the second, what made it a better race for me was that 2nd and 3rd ran new tyres for the finals, mine had done 4 runs before the finals, roll on next week, vids will be posted soon, very pleased with the bd7 16

ps 2nd was also a bd7 16 and 3rd was an xray t4 16

Start building my kit yesterday and then got stuck at the steering bell crank part.

Can someone tell me why a top level competition kit does not include this as standard? i thought it was missing and went back to the store. i ended up buying bd7 '15 bellbrank system. is there a difference between the 15 and the 16?

what does the letter A mean at the end of the part numbers.

Thanks

They stop including the bellcrank and now includes DCJ's. Xray T4 comes with plastic bellcrank and that's a top level kit. The letter A is for aluminum.

For 2016 there looks to be a specific one for the Bellcrank Aluminum Set as B7-202SS

We use the alu bell crank from the 2015 without issues

Quick FYI for those running this car on high-bite carpet with softer springs - the front end of this car seems to roll around a lot more than previous BD7 chassis. If you are chasing issues where the car seems to spin out or be tweaked, especially in sharper corners where the car is on its nose, check to make sure your bumper isn't dragging. I never had to trim the underside of my BD7 2015 bumper, but I had to take off huge swaths of my 2016 bumper to get it to stop dragging.

Another PSA is that xray 2.7 springs are very similar to the yokomo blue springs, so if you are having trouble getting the new yokomo springs, try the xray ones in the meantime.
