So it sounds like the S5ST is a bit longer shaft and may come in handy on putting the SLF II set on the Tamiya in case I need a bit longer shaft.

I have 2 sets of lower profile shock towers that are made in the UK for this 419 coming and bought the SLF Short Shock II full set.

Also getting a BD7 2016 in the next week or so anyways. Lots of spending going on!

I just finished my 2016 build, super nice.... There are still a few items I need to get for it though. The car needs a better servo mount..
Anyways, I'll be excited to try it out agains my 2015.

Wondering if anyone else is having issues snapping or tearing the rear belt on the 16' running mod? I know myself a couple others here locally have snapped a few belts running mod. Previously ran the 15 and had no issues with belts.

The mod guys are running their belts tight to mitigate some of the tearing issues. But still a slight problem.

Flipped my panaracer pinion around,notice it would rub the belt and catch the set screw.

Thanks, just find it odd that it's the rear belt only snapping or tearing. I've had the tension tight, slightly loose to see but still doing it regardless. I'll have to stock up on some belts than

i had a problem on mine where the belt wouldnt sit in the middle of the diffs,i tweaked the adjusters and got them back central again,i didnt use the spring and ball bearing to hold the adjusters i opted for putting a screw in the spare camber link hole and nipped them very lightly,i was told the spring and bearing pinch the adjuster and causes binding in the diff bearings

I am having the same issue. I'm certain that my rear belt is not touching the spur gear mount screw, as they do not protrude into the pulley at all. With all that said, I'm usually having to replace the rear belt each race day. It's just simply not holding up. Noticeable signs of delamination and shredding after the first run in open modified. I run the belt tension very firm. My only conclusion as to the cause of this, is due to the smaller pulley sizes on the '16 from the '15. The belt simply doesn't have enough wrap around the drive pulley(spur gear pulley) to keep it from skipping under load. Perhaps if the belt was wider, it would have a greater surface area on the pulley and wouldn't skip as often and increase longevity of the belt.

I was able to get maybe 10 runs on mine when it decided to shred the teeth off of them. I did notice that my 3x5m button head screws were protruding some and may cause it but will have to put in shorter screws.

Just Dremel the spur gear holder screws down a little
