Yes, I have seen it...very nice craftsmanship. I sent him a MSG that I would purchase them if he made it...just waiting. Thanks!

Finally finished building my fully hopped up Sakura D3 CS with SSG..had to make some adjustments. At full lock, the front knuckles hit the lower arms possibly binding or limiting travel...dremelled some material off and now, no more binding.
At turn in...the upper wheel hits the lower shock plate, so I moved lower pick up points back to factory location.

Front toe: +1* toe out

Placement for servo is different distance from original chassis..so had to make new turnbuckle with ball ends

Rear toe: -1* toe in

I got my 3 13's from 3racing and my 22 from ebay but that was when they had stock good luck finding any 3racing pulleys atm, your only option is to buy Square pulleys which cost 3 times more

Yes, the aluminum steering definitely made a difference...and great price compared to other exotic kits

Yeah I ruined the plastic 13 gear up front from a flat spot on my front belt.

I'm going to drop the cs and up FDR with a 15t for the front and a 23 for the rear. Puts it at about 1.94
I'm hoping it'll help out with the belt slack as well.

Just finished the building of my D3. was going to testdrive but i got ALOT of drag in the drivetrain. No idea whats holding back.. any of you had the same problem?

And dont like the shattering in the steering. Need to do something about that. Any options out yet for that?

maybe your motor gear is too tight against your spur gear?
not sure if that causes that drag, but i had the problem of gears rubbing, loud grinding noise. and i positioned the motor gear a little looser with the spur gear and it runs super smooth

and the steering problem i just got mine fixed thanks to pickled (member on here) all you need is the high angle drive shafts (part# SAK-X27), and a front one way (part # SAK-D324/PK),
although if you don't want to get the one way, the drive shafts what you really want, because the stock shafts are really meant for regular 1/10 rc cars that don't have such extreme counter steer angles, i don't know why 3racing didn't just include the SAK-X27 to begin with, since this D3 was meant to drift and run crazy steering angles

Double check gear mesh on your pinion, it's probably too tight. It's not good for the motor. ..get a FOW and get the SSK for the XI or Tamiya double Cardin...more expensive though than the SSKs. Im using the SSK and it totally got rid of the front chatter at full lock, even with the wider steering angle I'm using now...still no problems.

Most kits..even the high end ones don't come complete with the best out of the box. You still need to upgrade stuff...that's why the Sakura D3 is one of the best values out there even if you get all the options. You still come out ahead over all the other VIP kits.
