I noticed that they can't go on, so I just got my D3 back together. I am going to run it tomorrow and see how it slides.

No need for those sleeves...I got the heavy duty gold anodized for my rears...no sleeves needed either.

New turnbuckles with adjusters for front steering

Trying to figure out differences on steering...seems to different angles slightly...

Came into a problem with the aluminum steering bottoms hitting the screw adjusters on the front lower arms

its hitting the screw because you have them on backwards

What do you mean backwards?
I double checked the instructions and the arms, screw position into the chassis downstops, aluminum steering all seems to be in the correct orientation.
Would you mind helping out if I overlooked something?

I ditched my screws long ago I use set screws now, so if you have any 12mm set screws laying about use them and it should clear it? are you even using the droop?

So looks like you only needed the hooks and bands from the battery retention off the kit

I do have 12mm set screws...I'll have to check it out. It might still be too short, but I'll confirm. Im not using droop right now..but I might when it's time to set up the chassis.

Yes, needed those from old kit, plus suspension arms, hubs, axles...

Yes, I do have spare arms...didn't set those up yet...I just want to have the new chassis up and running first...then start adding those mods. I also have these E10 alum arms that I might try..they have ball connections on the bottom to connect to the KPI hub.

I know...I've seen tht KE70 and fell in love with it. Decisions, decisions!
