Talking WOW

I ran my BDM with the Pro4/HB front end this weekend at our final ORL2 race. It was awesome. I TQ'ed with almost a lap over the field. Screwed up in the main though and hit a plowdisk and broke my titaniumracing spool and some other parts.

The front end is a must if you want steering.

Has anyone had breakage problems with their spools as late and what front drive axles is everyone using?

Just got TiR HB axles and Yokomo bones. So i can run the HB bearings and dont need to shim the car excessively.

I was using longer upper link ( 2nd hole count from outside ) and would like to go back to original setup printed in the manual ( 3rd hole count from outside ).

What about droop you are suggesting ?

I usually run 6/5 but sometimes when grip is low 5/4 oder 6/4 is better.

but 6/5 is my starting point

Hi all,

I told you I'd report in when I had my TIR spool.
Well, drove it for a day yesterday and it is awesome. I drove it with the delrin outputs on a medium- high grip asphalt track and you cant even see any wear on it!!
The team Bomber spool I first had, I had to replace the blades on the axles every 2 batteries with some luck. Sometimes even 1/ battery -> 2.5€!!!

You can order different/ replacement outputs from here: http://www.titaniumracing.com/sectio...=5_Spools.html

They shipped fast to me... (off course me being in Europe...)

I did have problem using yokomo plastic spool it keeps snapping on me in half during powering considering I only run 19T. I then switch to shooter spool works great. But now I just received my new delrin YOKOMO spool I haven't tried it yet, because as of now I went back running oneways works like a charm.

What actually do you mean with the term "front end", as english is not my mother tongue I do not understand such a word. Maybe you can explain it.

I found the Yok Plastic spool to be very fragile. If you are a very smooth driver who never makes a mistake, it will work for you. But it's not very forgiving for those of us who hit a few dots on occasion. I've snapped two in half. Both within the first minute of a race. I bought them both at the same time though. I suppose it is possible there was a bad batch

Front end is the PRO4 C hubs and knuckles(steering) along with hardware like ballstuds, bushings(steering), etc.
