So will Yokomo be releasing a conversion kit for the SSG or Black MR4 TC? The new car is sweet looking but I need a car that will work on carpet, I do very little asphalt racing.

That is one nice car! Looks tempting to me because of the easy access to the diffs and spur.

kmorast,

the current plans from what I'm told is that they will release the belt touring car first, and then a conversion kit for the SD owners to convert close to a World's spec SD.

I think the front and rear diffs are the same.

The only thing I don't like is that the motor isn't lowered like on the other cars with the same layout.
It's lowered aprox. 1.5 mm on TRF415. The motor is heavy at 180 g so it should be lowered.

I believe the BD will come with a Front one way and a ball diff rear. They will probably offer a ball diff later. No see the reason why though...One Ways are great if you can get use to them.

How thick the decks are I belive that they will be 2.5-3.0mm thick bottom chassis and 2.0 top deck.
The top deck is real thin.....I likes that....That means they did there homework and put the real tweek spots with aluminum and the upper beck is just to help.
I can not wait.....
Pre order in
Waiting for the Masami addition VFS 1 Pro.
Already have the Airtronics 94360 ready for it and three new bodies to try with it...
Protoform Mazda 6
Ride MKII Stratus
Rayspeed Accord.
I hope Yokomo keeps there word and get them out right on my birthdate. Now that will be the third best birthday gift ever....
First being the gift of life from GOD.
Second a 2004 Explorer XLT from the wife.
Third the Yokomo MR-4TC BD from myself.

Are you going to give us who pre-order this kit any suprise?
like... more masami's autograph? a free charger? a free diff?
a free spare kit? and a pack of 1.19V's battery?
I wont be greedy.. i just want a set of springs from silver to pink.

just kidding~

Remember that this is a prototype and isn;t the exact product car.
I bet they will be the same exact ones from the SD...Perfect design why mess with it.
Hope that makes you feel better....LOL

even tho it is still 1 month away.

i just hope when they release this kit. Please at least
give me extra belts(thats all i want actually). and bumper brace will be grphite one also, as good looking factor for displaying in
my living room will be high.

hmm... just wondering... put a short SD arm up front, regular long
arm in the back. how would the car handle???
