Hot Bodies Cyclone

Does putting a 2 degree pivot block on the front of my Cyclone TC give you more steering? On Barry Baker's set-up sheet from the KO Propo race, he has the 2 degree pivot block on the front. I have always used 0 degree blocks or no shims on all of my others cars. What does sweeping your arms back like that do for you? If somebody could help me out with this, that would be great.
From what i know, this allows you to use slightly softer shock settings on the front while maintaining higher corner speed.

Since it's brushless motor there is no point of mounting it on the endbell by mounting the fun on the side this will cool the motor can better. In the old days of brushed motor all fun is on the end bell to cool down the brushes.
Where the fan is placed on Hara's car.. it looks like it was blowing air onto the motor front the back of the car to the front.. I thought the fan sucking air from the front to the rear would be better as the natural air flow would also help..
Is this what others also do??
I have the same fan.. so unless he has his one going in reverse then thats the way its setup..

There is not a lot of natural air flow under a TC body. I know because every time I take my car off ther track there is a layer of fine dust all over it!
The fan blows pretty hard, any subtle natural air flow wouldn't have a noticable effect

New HB Touring Car
Its great theres a new car out, but call me old fashioned, every time I see Hara clipping that kerb after Rheinhard made a mistake....................The Cyclone could have been Double world champ!!!!
I'll still be using my old WCE/TC cyclone for a while yet- Been using a TC5 for a few weeks, just for a change and its no where near the cyclone- They just have so much corner speed

Hi, does anyone have a base setup for the RCGT class on a med-size, med-high grip carpet track? I currently have the Cyclone TC with HPI X-Pattern 65mm/26mm tires and a 17.5 brushless motor.
Thx.
Thx.

Nice! I just put an Exotek chassis on my car. I'll be testing it this week and let everyone know how it performs. The fit and finish is awesome, and my car balanced out spot on in the middle battery position.

I put one on my car along with cut top decks (frt & rear) and thought that it was to soft so I put the uncut front deck back on and it seems better (17.5/rubber/carpet).
Interested in your thoughts.
Thanks.
anyone?

Yea, I'll be running with uncut top and mid decks to start. That combination alone is softer than the std bottom deck, and cut upper and mid deck combo. It'll be interesting for sure. All I know is, my battery won't be flying out anymore when I have a racing incident

DURABLE??
Hey, How durable is the Cyclone ? I want to get into on road but want a durable and love HPI/HB.... Let me know and thanks. ALSO, What is the difference between the Hara edition and the TC? Is it that significant and are the parts innerchangable? THANKS
