but i dont want to switch belts or pulleys or any of that jazz. Lookin at speedtech i can get a 87t spur (if you guys know where i can find smaller spurs that'll work on the cyclone lemme know) and 59+ tooth pinion gears. The huge ass pinions will definately be helpful on attaining the right gear ratio but will it be too big and hit the chassis? Would i have to buy that brushless motor mount kit? That thing is expensive :/
Lefthanderrc.com has a ton of big pinions and small spurs (its an oval site), I have mounted many large pinions on my cyclone and they should fit. I have a 17.5 geared at 3.48 fd on my cyclone with stock pulleys and my pinion spur combo is 80/55.

Any idea if that 76t spur will be too small to mesh with a 53-55t pinions?

Lots of questions i know...but im kicking and screaming the whole way to switching to 17.5 lol. I wanna stay stock, what can i say.

Thats got to be close! you may have to dremel the motor mount

The BL motor mount's are just to raise the spur up, theres no more adjustment in them, so those wouldnt help much...
