The 7700kv on paper is between the 4.5 and 5.5, I ran the 7700 all last year. On the track it runs with a good 4.5 when geared right. Both my Mamba max's have tremendous mid-band HP witch makes them unpredictable in TC's as stated by rcenut123. I run my low end up and it helps smooth out the mid-band. My 7700 will pull away from the 3.5's and 4.5's coming onto a strait but the 3.5's will pass me on the long straits.
really

I know you race mod but I'm not sure what the tracks you race on are like. Do you think the standard set up will work on a layout with many tight turns???
I think I have that set up sheet but I,m not sure it's the one you are using.

I'd give it a try. It worked on Speedworld's big track in mod and worked on a smaller track in 19/10.5 Did i send you the set up via email? If so then that's what I'll be running this weekend.

Hara firms and I'm using version 1. They seem to feel the sorex tire better.

I got all of mine over seas last year. I bought a ton of them and with us running mostly handout tire's (RIP RP30's) it took me a while to go through them. I do have to find me a new source for them.

No I did not get it from you so it must not be the same one, If you would, send it to me, I would appreciate it.
Thank you

Has anyone managed to get a hold of the new arms?
Interested to see if the slightly softer rear shock position yields good results, as the HPI suspension is always firmer in the rear end.

Questions??

I only use lipo and a 10.5 brushless. Where do you guy place weight to get your car legal? I have to add at least 300 grams to get my car up to 1525 grams. I have a soft pack SMC 4000 lipo soft pack and planning on getting a hard pack 4000 lipo.

longshot of a question...looking to try to get correct gearing with a 17.5 on my hara cyclone...

but i dont want to switch belts or pulleys or any of that jazz. Lookin at speedtech i can get a 87t spur (if you guys know where i can find smaller spurs that'll work on the cyclone lemme know) and 59+ tooth pinion gears. The huge ass pinions will definately be helpful on attaining the right gear ratio but will it be too big and hit the chassis? Would i have to buy that brushless motor mount kit? That thing is expensive :/

On the sides of the battery until it is balanced, you can also mount weights on top of the battery. When the weight is placed on the side it will give more leverage for balancing without having to add as much physical weight.
