WOW and WOW again is all I have to say. This car handled great from the first pack of the day until the last pack in the Amian. I had too much power for the track early on and thought about motoring down but stayed with the 3.5 and killed em' down the straight. The car is very nice to drive and responds well to little changes. If you weren't at Speedworld this weekend then you missed one hell of a race.

I made the mian and came in 2nd!!!!

Hi,

can someone confirm with me whether the new PRO-DIFF is compatible with the previous Cyclone chassis (black/Hara/Karn and WCE) or whether it only fits in the new Cyclone TC with the new bulkheads?
Cheers

I think your gonna be fine with your stock diff's unless your having issues with snapping diff screws! But if your snapping diff screws I don't think the diff is being assembled correctly.

My trick is to tighten the diff until its pretty smooth but not super tight. Then I test it in the car! Hold the spur gear and the driver side rear tire. Spin the passenger side tire fast, it should spin and hear a slight chirp. That means they are loose but won't slip! perfect!

I will get the set up on to a set up sheet and post a link on www.gearchart.com However....I won't take credit for this set up. My boy Scotty Barnes is the guy that put this set up on my car. He use to be the Cyclone master until the student beat the teacher this weekend Love ya Scotty if you're reading this.

I used the 13mm rotor with a final drive ratio of 9.4 This was with Novak motors and spread spektrum speed control using profile #1. The cyclone also had the stock pulley so the internal drive ratio was 2.4???

I'm going to try the stock diff screw the next time out just to see how it holds up. What diff lube are you using when you build your diffs?
