Just out of intrest have you tried a few drops of oil on the shock collars to loosen them when adjusting them? That will also help if you havent!

Towerhobbies has the PRO4 spring set, but they have 2 gold, 2 silver, and the rest are black. What and where are the HPI blue? Is HPI blue just a rating, instead of the actual color of the spring(Xray and Associated have their springs color coated). Asked at local hobby shop and they have boxes of HPI springs for TC, some are green, blue, white, orange, etc...are these the ones? Can someone please explain the HPI/HB color/spring rating system and where to get the HPI "blue" rated springs?
Here the HPI Spring rate:
Blue Rated 15.3 in/lb - 6 Coils (14x25x1.4mm)
Silver Rated 16.9 in/lb - 6.5 Coils (14x25x1.5mm)
Pink Rated 18.0 in/lb - 6.25 Coils (14x25x1.5mm)
Gold Rated 19.0 in/lb - 6 Coils (14x25x1.5mm)
White Rated 20.3 in/lb - 5.75 Coils (14x25x1.5mm)
Yellow Rated 21.7 in/lb - 5.5 Coils (14x25x1.5mm)
Red Rated 22.4 in/lb - 5.25 Coils (14x25x1.5mm)
they are all in black (except for gold and silver) , but painted on the top to recognise it.

Pretty sure there the ones for the Hara Pro Competition shocks,if they are then they wont fit the kit Cyclone shocks as the thread is to deep for those tops.

The problem with cyclone shocks is that the cap is too deep for the shock body. The cap will screw down until it hits the shoulder of the shock body. Then you end up tightening against that.
So you have two options to modify your shocks, and one option to change them:
1)file/dremel the shock caps so they are shorter. This can easily be done easily, so that with the cap on the body you cannot see the silver filed area.
2)Use some sort of shim near the shock bladder. If you have any of the 40-60 bladders, you will have the shims from those that fit perfectly. Or you can use an o-ring as mentioned, or anything similar.
3)Or you can buy caps from Hara pro4 shocks.
My caps are ground. My friend did them with a dremel (they where his before they where mine) and you cant tell unless you take the cap off. and even then its not a big deal imo. Shims work fine but you have to deal with that extra component whenever you change shock oil Using pro4 caps is fine, but maybe you dont like how they are hex shaped, or that they only come in purple.

Hi,
Do you know the part number of the shock caps from the Pro 4 Hara Edition that will fit the cyclone shock bodies.
Are the shock bottoms hex style too and will these fit the cyclone shocks?
Thanks!
