What springs do you guys use for carpet/foam ? Hara's set-up sheet from Vegas says 33# front and 28# rear. Does HPI make these springs and if so does anybody know the part numbers ?
Thanks.

Corally silver spring set. Comes in a package of 6 pairs, 26-44lbs for less than $20. They are the same size as HPI springs too.

I keep being told to use some titanium ball studs as the standard ones break easily. What is everyone using?

Thanks

Thought I would share my carpet setup with you guys, you'll find that it's not too far away from the stock setup...

EDIT: Droop is measured above ride height.

Anyone ever get a bent motor mount in their kit?

First time I went to race the car, meshed up the gears and switched it on in the pits and held up in the air and gave it a few revs... there was a terrible clicking sound coming from the car. Seemed like it wasn't meshed properly so I re-checked it and it was fine, but still this clicking noise. Changed to 48p gears and problem went away. When racing last night it was alright, until I noticed the motor wasn't sitting straight in the car so I unscrewed it and tried to reset the motor... still crooked.... then unscrewed the motor mount thinking it was just tweaked but it wasn't. The only thing left was that it was bent, and not just a little either. Do you think it may have been bent a little from factory which caused that clicking sound initially and after having driven the car made it worse? By the way I never had any impacts on the motor (not a scratch on it) or anything that might cause a bent motor mount, plus i've never had this problem with any other car.

Default Hot Bodies t-shirts

Hot Bodies t-shirts

Anyone know where to get the black t-shirts that I've seen Hara, Surikarn, Moore and the other team drivers wearing?

Thanks!
