Korey, have you tried the xray springs at all ? In particular I was wondering about the springs that are rated in wire size i.e. 2.2, 2.4, .... 3.2 .
Thanks.
Thanks.

if all you changed was the main chassis, the belts should not be tight. if you changed the layshaft with the main chassis, make sure you are using the proper length belt and layshaft pulleys. the black edition stock comes with the 16 tooth layshaft pulleys, count the teeth on both pulleys and a shorter belt. the TC edition comes with longer belt and 18 tooth pulleys. If it was built with 18 tooth pulleys and short version belt is will be real tight!!! Check the hingepin mounts, there is a front/rear and rear/front, if backwards, the belts will touch....... if thats all good, make sure the eccentric diff holders are facing the proper position.. check the manual for notch position. if still tight, disconnect the front and rear camber links to allow the arms to drop and the axles to disengage from the diffs and backtrack to why it is tight.... probably seized bearing? this car when maintained is real "free" when motor/ pinion is not installed...
Good luck... let us know.

with rubber tires, the cyclone runs excellent on carpet.
For foam tires, you can convert your car to foam spec use with those parts below,
#61285 3.6mm Solid Main Chassis
#61286 2.5mm Solid Upper Deck
#61289 Solid Middle Deck
#61283 Chassis Post With ATC -Adjustable Torsion Control-
#72036 Aluminum Hex Hub Clamp Type (6mm/4pcs)
