Cypress: Yes i'm sure. I will never say anything just to say it. The diameter of the GP3700 is bigger and the height is taller than the 3300. At the Novak race a Trinity driver lent a pack to another driver who couldn't get the pack to fit in his car.

Gary: I have been matching cells for 14 years and have been a activily involved in RC racing for 19 years. Your theory of usable voltage is good but in real ontrack performance the high average voltage cell will run better.

All our stk and 19t drivers are using higher average voltage cells with lower runtime. Our mod drivers use the higher runtime cells.

I am thankfull that there are people like Danny @ SMC to provide good packs with reliable numbers and not just another re-labeled product.

I watched said driver try to wedge said pack into his car. It did not fit. I also watched the batteries charge from about 3 ft. away. They were wrapped with trinity 3300 shrink.

Also they peaked at over 3900 mAh, which would seem kinda high for something you are willing to loan out.....

partyman: I don't even know Danny personally, but I know that he's not an ass and wouldn't spout out info that is purely opinion based. He already said that the Intellect cells will run about the same times as a GP3300, so what's your point?

Dude, with the absolute baseless crap that comes out of Jim's mouth how you can call anyone that is waaaaay below the belt. If Danny were what you call him, he would be telling people that 2000's were still the best batteries out on the market and that came out afterwards were junk ala the MVP being the best stocker on the market.

I don't actually know Danny in person, but everything he has posted on this forum has been constructive and true. Why would someone argue with his reputation? Yeah, I run IB 3600 an GP 3300. Both cells charge way into the 3800-3900 range. But after I leave them on the equalizer tray for 12 hours. You must charge your batts from 5.4 volts. That is why your charger doesn't tell you 3900 mah

partyman, knock it off. I know where you posted from.

I'll give this thread a chance to turn around, but you guys need to quit the bashing.
