Team Titan ARC R10 190mm EP Touring Car

The car is little heavy overall and the aluminum screws with the lighter VTX1 is a better choice in my opinion.
For the oil i just use AE 37.5 weight oil. The cst ratings differ from oil manufacture but commonly a 350CST is like a 30 AE oil.

Debating on whether to put VTX1 or VTX10 speedo in car. Difference is weight. How are you guys on overall weight with the car?
Sorry, electric off road guy at heart. Where are you guys starting with shock oil? From my understanding 350cst can be like 3 different measurements - would most consider that just 35wt?
Thanks guys.

Has anyone tested the flex chassis? And how does it perform compared to the stock chassis. Thanks
#319
Tried it once on low/medium grip asphalt, found it was a little less responsive and generated a little more understeer. Wasn't a fan on that day, but I see that it is very popular in other racer's setups. I might try it again.

I'm running the flex chassis and top deck on carpet. It makes the car a little more forgiving and maybe opens the setup window somewhat. The kit chassis is obviously sharper in the corners with very little flex. Not much difference on the clock for me, it's all about feel...a little smoother drive with the flex. IMO

What are you guys running for low/medium grip ashphalt? I have been working on my car for like 3 weeks now. Been getting better and better.Super fast, but a little on edge. I have not really messed with the roll centers, that will be this weekend. Thanks in advance. Here are some pics....

Car has been very good of late
Basically half mm under all 4 blocks, long front link, long rear wheelbase, and no sway bars. Super easy to drive

Width affects roll acceleration/speed...
#330
You can't isolate width from roll - changing width changes the roll centre, that will change the moment between the roll centre and the CG, etc etc etc. All geometry changes are interlinked in some way. Setup is a balance.
