If I buy a 65c battery for 17.7 Blinky is it a waste of money?

+1 run some test throught various packs to decide which one gives the best power.

Forget about C ratings on labels...
Mr Unlimited is RIGHT!
Its all about IR (internal resistance) the lower the better the lipo battery pack.
Cheaper lipo packs are hit or miss when getting a good pack with really low IR.
In blinky mode its even more important to have a lower IR due to the high timing in the can that lowers motor efficiency.
Graph your batteries to see the drops in voltage under a high amp draw, and compare your packs to see which packs are really good.

In all seriousness, there is a thread on here with several comments from Danny from SMC stating that most of the ratings above 40C are likely BS. There are only a few manufacturers in China that actually produce the LiPo cells, so the performance difference comes down to quality control, and fancy packages.
For the large majority of club racers, none of this really makes a difference on the track. Buy a brand that you can afford and feel good about buying.
