Im not sure what you are comparing it to as most of the VTA legal bodies have small spoilers about that size.

i enjoyed the Cougar, seemed as good as a body as any other but... i couldnt lower the shell around the front tires as much as i wanted to, keep the hood high and trim the spoiler and wheel wells to fit the ground.
But you added rear spoilers to both cars. How are the VTA gods going to react to that?

For the HPI, Bolink/RJ Speed Mustangs, McAllister Cougar and others which are not provided with a spoiler:
A lexan spoiler of 16mm total height from trunk deck, and overall chord of 20mm is allowable.
All other bodies must use the spoiler included with that specific body set.
Great information. Thank you.

that wing was just for looks it quick detaches for a race , quite ineffectual it actually created lift if anything.
the red one has a vta legal " gurney flap " also ineffective, zero gain from each , timed the same, felt the same, handled the same, just looks.
Sweet lookin' ride Imacfanatic.

It's pretty much about trying to survive the Carnage. I wish I had kept some of my VTA bodies that ran a full season. Lots of Shoe Goo and fiber tape. That's what you get running mid pack. Lol.
Nothing but Good Times.

I’m a mid pack racer myself and I bounce off the walls with the best of them. I’ve been very impressed with the McAllister camaro. I’ve ran it in five races and no tears in the body. I have a couple of creases but that’s all. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for the Protoform bodies.

My protoform mustang lasted a full season at two different tracks, and I make a habbit of going dirty side up at least once a race day.
Myron, What FDR range do you guys normally use in this class at the Apex Track?

Weird. I cracked up my wheel wells quickly on my previous McA. Hopefully my current one lasts longer.
