Back in our old early 90s nitro days we would use clear finger nail polish on fiberglass. Not sure if that would work on plastic or not...it might.

I HAVE put CA glue in the thread hole in plastic and then used a needle to swirl it into the existing threads. This can buy you a short time if you plan to take it apart again, or a long time if you leave it alone. Use slow CA and let it dry before you put a screw back in.

Also, when you build new, use a thread forming tap in plastic parts. You do not want a tap that cuts chips.
