If you are looking for the Pegasus "Mustang" body, make sure you are searching for Pegasus 70 Mach Jet. There are a couple on eBay right now (9/26/2023) but expect to pay around $50 USD with shipping.

----------

I also believe that the Firebrand Mach Speed is the same body except it comes with more/different decals. Maybe someone can confirm if it is the same, but I couldn't find any for sale online. Here is a link about this body...

https://www.rccaraction.com/firebran...110-road-body/

Hope this information helps.

If the tires are as good as their USGT tires, they will be a very welcome addition especially on asphalt. As far as the spec motor, I don't think it's needed, they should just run the USGT 21.5 30 degree motor, it's about equivalent to a good 25.5.

There is no magic about mid motor cars. Spend the money on tires or springs or something along those lines.

Only having one spare belt makes me feel as magical as a wizard riding a fairy dust scented unicorn draped in a magic carpet.

Good morning! New to VTA, not new to racing or RC. Limited knowledge on VTA setup vs TC. The question I has is, can someone recommend a baseline setup for an XRAY X4 '22 for medium traction asphalt? I currently am following the box stock asphalt setup, but with the added weight and different tires, I imagine the springs or other aspects of the car may change. Just looking for some insight and advice. Thank you for you time.

The xray setup site has this vta setup for low grip asphalt, so start with that and loosen up as needed. https://setup.teamxray.com/sheet/vie...ets%5B0%5D=165

If your tires are new brake them in with sauce/heat/cleaning/sanding cycles before race day. New fresh tires are very difficult to drive on asphalt.

I've watched the guys struggle with that. I've ready a good portion of this extensive thread. I do the same with my TC tires. Denatured alcohol bath for mold release. Sand. Monster Tweak. Wait 24 hours. Wipe excess. Paragon FX2 and heat. Rip for a few minutes. Clean. Paragon. Heat n repeat. Has worked well for me.
Regardless, thank you for the advice and direction. Much appreciated.
