Awesome news on spur gears, will be on order soon.
So new "summer" front arm set will not work on your Exotek F104V2 Flex Chassis??

Were there any Exotek cars at the Snowbirds? From what I could tell the F1 field was primarily CRC, VBC, and Speedpassion.

I am interested in the preferred aluminum axle carriers/motor mount for the F1r. I have an F1R2 as well, so I already have those.
@MikeR, would the F1R2 rear axle carriers/motor mount for the F1R2 work on the F1r? If so, can I buy them from you?

For the F1R you have to use F104 motor plates. Tamiya brand worked pretty well for us, just a bit heavy.

Running F1R with 21.5 on a medium grip track, problem I am having is a lack of initial turn in compared to competitors. Are there basic set up changes that will increase corner entry speed?
Set up:
Tyres Pits 573/575 104 size
shorty pack forward
6degrees of castor
Min toe out
RS Sector kit narrow front
fluro red spring
40 weight 3hole shock
Tamiya black side spring
Gold front springs
1mm front droop
1.5mm rear droop
5.5mm front ride height
5.5mm rear ride height
Any ideas welcomed

Bob

you can try less caster ( around 2 ou 3 °)
battery backward
a diving chassis (5mm front , 5.5mm rear)
a stiffer grease on the side dampers.

Some additional toe out will assist too.

Aaron Lane with the F1R2 does it again! Back to back TQ and triple A main wins for the UF1 Winter Series!

Congrats Aaron! I only wish we had finished the chassis sooner for the start of the series but at least you are on a roll now and sure to finish strong
