Got my correct sized outer front links today.
Turn-around from issue to resolution was only a few days (this is good).
Sorry you had a issue with a small bad batch Mike....New product fits great!
All is good....Front end looks and adjusts well.
Can't wait for the weekend.

Hi guys I ordered a F1R2 from TQ and am curious about a starting set up for low-med grip ozite, I already have pit 571/572 and we run 21.5.
our track is medium sized with a nice flow to it.
Cant wait to get this bad boy... currently have an SP-1 that is pretty dialed but couldnt resist this kit..

Wonder why Exotek did not just make this a complete kit instead of a conversion? I feel it would be better to ground-up build this instead of build, take parts off your already built F103/F104, build some more, take more parts off, etc, etc........................

Another tire combo to look into if traction is not through the roof is 574(with soft inserts)/575. Lower traction and/or colder temps suit this combo nicely.

Pair them with the exotek offset wheels if you have any concerns about traction rolling.

My guess is because Tamiya already makes superb axles, diffs, steering knuckles and kingpins. If you have an F1R2 conversion and an Exotek front end that is basically all you need for a complete chassis. Kinda hard to improve those items from Tamiya that are proven components and easily available anywhere in the world.

Hopefully Mike R can provide more insight.

Because I do not want to design a manual

No seriously though- it takes a lot of man power hours to design and ship full kits. The budget is not the problem- it's the lack of time! Something I've considered for an F1R3 (if ever) but for now not even possible time wise.
