What parts are needed to convert from the original Exotek to the new F1R?

I dont have an X1 but I think the F1R side dampener has a much larger diameter so will not fit on the X1.

Just 1 part number- but a lil pricey still;

Texastc's wife sounds smart. You will have to do what I did. Start an RC business! All car purchases goes under R&D expenses. As long as the bills are paid it's kind of hard for the wifey to argue that

Maybe this? Looks like a conversion for the original conversion.

Might be a good reason to have 2 F1s. Now to find a 104 cheap to convert.

Mine has shipped, I m super pumped. Expect atleast a day delay because of holiday rush, but I wont have time to mess with it next week anyway. Well, maybe a little Busiest week of the year at UPS for me. Overtime is being spent very well.

Think I'll get an f1r in the new year. I'm still loving my exo104 though which makes me hesitant. But new toys are always fun!

Took my F1R out tonight for the first time. I only got a chance to run it twice so I still have some stuff I want to try out. The good news is the first time out I was on pace with my F104 pro. Very impressive! Second time out I matched the lap record for F1 on this layout. I'm still lacking some rear traction. So I'm pretty sure I can get that time down even more.

I beat my lap times pretty quick too. This car is good!

Got mine tonight, and already have it together mostly. Tried using the F109 pod, and it will definitely not work. So will order F104 pod and be done with it. Was a super simple build. Parts are as previously stated top notch, along with the gorgeous CF. I cannot wait to get this on the carpet. Thanks Exotek!

Hi, Still waiting on some parts to arrive. Looking like later next week.

Congrats Stephen Jackson. TQ'd the last round of the UF1 series with the F1R. Little bit of trouble with lap traffic for the mains but still scored well.

Raced my F1R last saturday and the car was really good in practice and the first half of heat1, ran the fastest lap of the day even! But as traction came up my car became very unmanageable, hopping and losing the rear in the turns. Still like the car, just have to find the setup that works.
