Guys I'm new with 1/12, I just bought the crc xl, I need a starting set up, the track is indoor asphalt with 80 ft straight and really tight corners, it's also a high bite track, any help I really appreciate it, and also I have issue blowing the front bearing even a slight hit.

Ficco's comment was probably just a critique of YOUR driving, not his..... But if he used himself as the basis for comparison then

Hey guys. Sorry to take so long to get back, had many duties that had stacked up on me over the week of racing lol! Anyhow, I was apparently off my rocker thinking that what I saw was an inline standard 1s in the car. It was in fact a shorty pack that had me confused.

Anyhow, am still picking up one or two....maybe three if the wife lets me....next time I get out to Rome. Have seen it run and it looks like it is a lot of fun to drive.

Does anyone know if this car is in fact ROAR legal with the shorty pack inline?
My club is ROAR compliant and I'd like to get my shit straight before ordering!

It should be. As far as I know, ROAR only set MAXIMUM battery dimensions. If they have no minimum specs, then it has to be legal....... Of course since the car is so awesome, there will soon be a thread requesting that it be made illegal in that configuration, at least for the blinky classes.

By the look from the picture a standard 1s lipo will fit inline down the middle but would just mean the speedo would have to go to one side. Could be wrong but it looks clear under the antena and infront of it also. And a standard pack would easy fit in the gap,as long as its clear above. Can anyone from CRC confirm this please.

Doesn't look like the carbon wide mast/shock tower is in the conversion kit picture. I presume it will be part of it in order to be able to run inline down the centre.
