yeah, and if that does't work I've never run across anything that a little self flagellation couldn't fix !

I would like to see some titanium or hard coated aluminum balls. I should have been a machinist. lol

If it is that they feel bound up , I polish the balls (did I just say that in public ? ) with 400 grit sandpaper. Specifically I chuck up and spin the ball on a long 3mm screw in my dremel ( or other "rotary" tool ) and use the sandpaper to make the ball nice and shiny. It seems to do the trick.

I do exactly the same, except I use 1200-1500 paper

I am mostly talking about the range of motion...To smooth out the friction issues I have found that Mother's Polish works best, but it is less about the friction and more about the range of motion. I could put some Tamiya shocks on, but I am kind of a stickler about using the parts that were designed for the car in those critical area's such as dampening and the effects on geometry.

Default Movement

Well polishing them wont get you anymore range of motion . You would have to machine the rear shoulder off and then space them away for the tower or shave the outside off the shock top off because it will hit the tower .

Surely there isn't that much motion to deal with; a small amount of rotation as the shock extends and is returned, and a small amount of lateral due to caster/anti-dive etc. as the wishbone moves through it's arc.

Default Sticky balls

He must be really good to notice the effects of the shock being a little tight . I can hardly tell the difference in shock oils .

I don't think you need to be so condescending...I did not say I could feel it, I said I don't like it...There is a difference.

If the pivot balls allowed more rotation, I think there would be potential problems with the piston alignment on the clicker/adjustable pistons.

It would be condescending if I put smiley faces or lol after it . I believe with just a period it was a statement .

Hi guys!

Could some of you explain me how and where to make hole in the shock? Pictures are welcome.

Thank you in advance!

Anyone have a pic of a Novak GTB2 installed on one of these? Trying to figure out how to put the electronics on with this mega capacitor.

There's already a hole in the shock cap if that's what you're referring to. See the shock cap on items 4, 5, and 6 of the below figure.

My tip for the small spur and 2nd screw, use needle nose to get the screw into the mount behind the spur, OR use the RW spurs which have bigger holes and can fit a button head 3mm through. (or ream 2 bigger holes in your spur opposite each other).
