This is a very fast motor, not so easy to drive
96t Spur, 20t (ish) pinion should get you close
I have not tried such short gear on the RM-01 so you may have to experiment to see what fits ?
I would recommend you have very true tires with that much rpm
Jaco Pink Rr, Purple Fr perhaps ?
Tamiya kit tires are very good for stock racing
Tamiya Hop-Up tires have more grip than kit tires
Please post results with this experiment

well i tried to mount a arm12 body but the front of the body rubs on the small post on the front arms, i was trying to mount the body highth even with the bottom of the chassis, is this to low. i noticed that crc bodies are slightly higher in the front, maybe i should try one of the crc bodies

by the way is there any information how to setup 1:12...
i have read some information from this forum but most of them just inform you to use this or that but do not explain clearly what the function really are...
for example: change the oil in pitch damper lighter or heavier... or change the spring infront stiffer or softer... but did not explain if you change the spring stiffer it will make the car react more or less to steering input...
the reason i ask this question is that i do not want to setup my car according to someone else setup which i believe their setup up must be different from my tack...so i want to be able to correct the car quicker by understanding how to fix the problem quicker...
Thanks Guys....

In my experience, a proper kit build of a 12th scale car + correct tires, will get you most of the way there
Tuning is a fine adjustment for feel as the track grip changes
Tires, and sauce will have more effect, than changing any base settings

greetings all! seeking advice. After a very long leave of absence, I am trying to get back into 12th scale. now for my question.. is the rm-01x worth the buy or will it benefit me to buy the base kit and pick up only the necessary hops ups? thanks!
