Will a regular sized 1S LiPO pack fit in this chassis? Other then using strapping tape, are there plastic holders that get mounted on the chassis to secure and prevent the battery from moving?

Hi.
what kind of Brushless motors do you use with 1s? Does a 540 fit in the RM-01?
And how much turns?

Greetings

Oh ok thx.
Iam looking for a 1:12 for our new 275 sq yd carpet indoor track.
I tryed my 1:10 with the 13,5t motor. But i think the 1:12 would be more fun on this small Track.
Maybe we start our own small club Championship.

@redbull help a noob out here why do you solder a capacitor across the terminals of the battery on the speed control? Is there a wiring diagram somewhere I can follow?

Thanks.

Read the instructions, which come with your esc
Many have the cap pre-installed

What esc do you plan to use ?

The chassis is different. As a result I would think the original should retain even more of its value.

@Redbull I plan to use the same Tekin you got on there. I have one on an old Xray M18 Pro but i am tired of that small chassis. I will learn and build up my experience with this machine but would like to get the fundamentals down. I was fairly savvy before but I have been out of the hobby for 2-3 years trying to get an engineering degree. I thank you, this forum, and the RM-01 for sparking my interest again!

The Tekin I have on the Xray does not have a capacitor and I have not installed one ever. But it is indeed something which I have seen alot of. Thank you for your help.

I would not recommend running any esc without a capacitor

Tekin RS User Manual

Tekin Cap
