didn't say it was cheap - just a nice hotel in the lakewood area

sorry...

the hilton garden inns are the 'lower end' hotels for hilton - that just usually don't mean cheaper

ain't it lovely how beach towns can jack with hotel prices in season

I would recommend make a reservation as you can cancel it anytime up to 24 hours prior to arrival if you find something better..the Ramada seems the best for now..i got a double bed for 119 and its not a roach motel..I ended up paying $100 a night for a craphole room The Ramada isnt tiny so you could find peeps to bunk on the floor for cheap

And the main thing is when the college peeps come up for the beach they will take the motels and whatever is available so you dont wanna get stuck without a place and have already paid an entry fee(non refundable)..

How is 1/12 participation on the local level? Do you expect a big turnout for the Nats?

I called the Radisson and i might be able to get a group rate on the rooms so it would be cheaper for everyone..it would be a minimum of 15 rooms but 15 rooms with 3-4 peeps a room/night wouldnt be bad for a nice place to stay..if anyone is interested..

We've been holding out for the pollen to wash away. I suspect there will be some locals but we have yet to hold a race with a 1/12 class . Hopefully that changes for the upcoming regionals.

Yes I would be interested and I am sure most others here would be too since rooms are so high anyway!!

I'm going to be looking for a roommate to share hotel with. PM if interested or if you know anyone. Non-smoker, pretty clean.
