I was checking for gaps in the tire glue and found broken ribs on the rim. The rim itself is ok, the tire is ok, but now I have to bond it back a little different. I guess I should keep the car on the ground...

Prototype 3.0

Today I am testing a new 2.5mm top deck with a new front block design. No real big changes just a little cleaner look. I am installing the optional steering linkage to check fit.

If all goes well tonight and Sunday I will start production next week.

Release date: 2/27/2012 or sooner. I will have pricing info available soon.

We had another good night at Timezone II last night, Troy was able to see a couple more little items he wants to revise to make an even better product, he was ableto Take TQ away from Dave an I and laid down a super quick 14.5 in practice, a .10 faster than any of us have been able to run with the stock chassi. If his schedule allows I know he wanted to try and make a couple quick changes hopefully before our Race on Sunday... then as he said if all works out guess he will move forward

Damn Denver beat me to it. Yep good fun with the goPro on Erik's FGX last night, love the suspension working on the rear shot. Should have a full field this Sunday and hopefully some more great shot's....

Now I'm headed back up to the track this afternoon to try and get a little more out of my car, Troy raised the bar a tad last night and will be gunning for a win Sunday, Especially since Ehrlich wont be here to take us out

That is a very cool video. Thank you for posting it! It's nice to see exactly how much the rear suspension works.

No doubt. I was wanting to run the body so it looked more finished. But after seeing the suspension doing its thing. I am pretty happy with the result. But next I want to do it with the body on so you can see my driver working the wheel while looking out the back of the car.

I will have a full report after Sunday's Race at TZ. I installed the 3racing aftermarket aluminum steering which has posed some issues. The linkage arm is shorter and it did not work with my original top deck. A couple of mods later and then some additional dremel work at the track and I got it working good with full throw. I am making some changes and will machine new parts tomorrow morning for Sunday's race.
