pics are a little blurry, but much closer than anything we have seen so far. Thanks for posting...

Shocks look a little cheesy to me...but I hope they work good!

Edit: The rear arm's look pretty tough and durable...

Tell you guys what, after you pick the car up and look it over good it just makes you want one! I spent alot of time drooling. This car truly is unique and I think it will be a great car!

Looking at the battery tray, I would think it would be annoying to have to remove 2 screws everytime to change the battery pack.

As long as the batteries stay in...then two screws would be worth the effort. If you take the time to tape batteries in then two screws seems easy.

I finally got to see one of these things upclose tonight at Socal. I must say I am very impressed. When I saw the first pics of it online I was a bit disappointed: the layout just looked "off". Seeing the (what I assume is) final/very near final version made my draw drop. It looked much better than I expected, and on the track it was on rails. I'm definately gonna get one when it comes out

Looking at those more detailed pics (darn, I forgot your name already , but cheers!!!) it does appear that there is actually room to fit corally connectors on the cells, the only difficult part, is actually getting the cells up in through the slot though.

Only thing I am wondering though, is the thread that the battery tray screws are going into, do they use a captive nyloc nut, or is it straight into plastic, if it is, then that is the only flaw into the system, if it goes into a captive nut, then that is a trick system...... and I bet someone will bring out a carbon fibre tray.....

Still, looking at the detail pics of the suspension, it still feels to me to a certain extent the suspension HAS been compromised to obtain the cells down the centre, but that is purely my opinion.

No, it don't go into the motor mount, that is purely just big enough to accept the motor and the idler shaft.

I think there is a plactic block above where the screws go in for the tray, interested on how they have done it though??

If you go back to where this connector thing started, you will read that I already SAID that it was POSSIBLE to use euro plugs in the car, the car I saw had them, you just need to put it in between two cells and the top deck (and remove some material off the top deck).

PS : No offence mate.
