Default jrxs

alright guys, now assembling my jrxs, questions about the pivot blocks.

i am using the paul c, stock setup and on it says; for front, to flip the front block and put .065spacer on it, the rear block have it flipped high for a .035anti dive.

the rear, do i run the pivot blocks, low or high?? doesnt say on setup sheet.

talking to a couple guys at local track i am getting mixed answers, with no clarification, either run low or high.

i am running foam carpet.

Sorry, foam. I live in the midwest..when you say carpet...it's 99% always foam, or was like that a year or so ago.

it means the rear of the front are high, and the front of the front is low and has spacers under it, both of the rear are low (if this makes any sense)
hey it worked for me

hey vic, try kinwalds set up if that one doesn't work for you. I have it on my jrxs and it works pretty good.

With the pivot blocks, I found that running them all low works best for carpet.

Are you coming out to Larry's friday?

andrew gray gave me a pretty good tip on how to make sure the plates go on straight....

He said to installed them to the motor mounts FIRST....as they are keyed up top, then install as one whole unit.....the problem can arise from the fact that only one of those aluminum pieces is keyed to the chassis, the other is not....this way insures it will be perfectly straight when you tighten it down to the chassis...

Cheer's for that EddeiO, Iwill do that when I re-build her next week.

I have also been told that you can hold down the chassis on flat plate glass and get someone else to tighten the screws up on the top decks, but Ilke the idea of what you have mentioned EddieO
Cheers TCCFM

I've had my car disassembled in every way possible, and the thing is super stiff when assembled, and is never out of tweak on the setup board..... not sure what to tell you guys having these tweak issues.

Try the Numan setup, that is what I used in LV at IIC. Only thing I did not use was the spool, just ran a diff up front. It will give you some place to start at least.
