Most of the breakable suspension parts are right off the XXXS. Only thing you need to watch out for would be breaking an arm or pivot block.

Look back through this thread. The corrally plugs seem to be tbhe best bet for those not wishing to thread the needle with their soldering iron and drive belts.

Will it be possible to put a 48DP spur on? By that I mean does the spur gear screw onto an adaptor, or does it have the pulley moulded on ala XXXS? Its just I have hundreds of 48DP pinions and don't wanna have to replace them all with 64's just to run this car

Thanks
Oli

Hundreds of 48P pinions???. It likely only takes 5-6 pinions to cover the gearing range you will need for the car. And you benefit by being able to make more minute gear changes when gearing up/down.

Pookyt-The only part # I know of is the skoda 2. It is LOSA8063. They were finalizing all part numbers late this past week to get the manuals done.

vtl1180ny-I have not tried it yet. I will and let you know.

Randy-If you are speaking of the Team Trinity blue collars for the Losi...they will not fit. The others have been using Tamiya collars. However I think once you get the kit you will not want to change the collars. They have the o-ring already in the collar and are hard anodized.

BiggerBrother-I believe Precision Racing Systems is making a spur gear adapter for the car. So you will be able to use your 48 pitch.

Nvisible-Not yet....sorry

Will we be able to get the Skoda2 before the car comes out or do we have to wait after the car comes out? Will the car come with the aluminum hing pin blocks that u used for the Worlds or will they be the other ones?
Cant wait till it comes out. Its gonna be a great car.

Thanks

I am pretty sure that the car will be coming with composite plastic hinge pin mounts, the Al. should be an option though. And prolly around the same time for the Skoda too.

Well its good that the composite ones are going to be included. Cause then the car will be lighter. All you who race in a club that doesnt check weight youll have a big advantage. lol

how often do u break hing pin blocks. I sure dont on my XXX-S and i have the plastic ones not the graphite ones. It wont matter if people cant keep up with you. lol You most likely will break an a-arm, or a hub.

How sturdy are the sway bar mounts?

I could see myself having a hard time snapping the ball cup on and breaking the sucker off. Is it a plastic piece or graphite?

hmmm...that should not break easy. That part does not take enough stress to break, unless your using coat hanger wire for a sway bar. plus that should be a graphite part.

I wouldn't worry about the strength of the included hinge pin mounts. I have yet to see anyone ever break a mount on a TC. There are simply so many other things that will 'break' first, and absorb the crash energy, before the mounts break.
