Team Losi JRXS

I don't think i have ever owned a car that the bumper fit perfect without mods. Sadly i did not look to see how well the mazda 6 fit on the JRX-S I looked over in person....LOL at that time everyone was concerned about the battery...lol...O well.

The bumper on the Pro 4 is pretty well designed. Never had to cut or shave it, or add new strips for the Mazda 6. The bumper on the KX-1 was also well designed.
Come to think of it, the only one's I've really had to do a lot of work on was the Yokomo bumper.

Thanksfully, there is only one chassis battery slot on the JRX-S that will need to be sanded! Whoo hooo!

Just a thought .....
I know the new GP3700 cells are slightly larger than the current 33's ... have the 37's been tried in the JRXS, it looks quite tight on space for the cells!
Thanks
Oli

Jezzz, I thought these sactioning bodies had regulations on how long these cells could be and still be legal?
I know they bent the rules when the first GP3300(rainbow label) came out. But later on GP came out with the shorter(Green/Orange) cells.
Is that going to be the case with this next generation of 3600-3700 cells? Or are they simply going to allow them to leave the cells the same size they are now.
Man, keeping up with this battery stuff is whole nuther hobby all by itself.

My choices between a new car is the Xray or JRXS, so I'm forced to wait anyway.... With the rumor of a shaft drive Xray it may just be the Losi.... I have shaft drive cars, don't need another....

I'm not expecting this forum to be a top 1 page hitter on a regular basis until we start getting pics of the cars shipping out. It's usually what happens. I just pop in on occassion to see if something new is going on.
