hehe Um... I guess I was just trying to drive somewhat conservatively hoping for something bad to happen to todd... like his motor slow or something....
then when I heard there were only a few laps left and there was no chance of me finishing dead last I just punched it and got that whole left side of the track right

I have a question about a GT7 if you have time to answer. I am using a GT7 for 4-cell 12th scale stock racing on an indoor high traction carpet track. What setting # should I be using?
I experimented with the program 6 (23KHz drive freq) which says "4-cell", and programs 3 "stock" (7.5 kHz drive freq) and 4 "aggressive stock" (4.5 kHz drive freq). I always have trouble with setups as I have to admit I didn't notice a huge difference in any of these programs.
Thanks!

I would recommend running profile 6 for most stock motor applications

What is it that makes an air-conditioner work? I honestly know it has something to do with freon, but how the heck does it work?
I work in a Data Center, and they say the computers combined put out 375,000 BTUs of heat per hour. Our cooling system is somewhat inadequate. I hear the guys talking about "well that's a 10-ton air conditioner"... Does that mean the sucker on the roof really weighs 20,000 pounds? Or what DOES it mean?
How many tons of air conditioning would we need to cool 375,000 BTUs? (In fact let's say 400,000 to plan for some expansion and growth...)
These are honest-to-goodness questions. I am trying to figure it all out in my brain and it's hurting... Not that I'm actually the one doing the planning, I just like to pretend like I am able to.

handy,
Divide your 400,000 BTU by 12,000 for tonnage figure.
It would be shortsided to only add 25,000 for expansion and growth.
If you are in a responsible financial institution, you also have to consider the issue of "redundancy". You might have four separate AC units in a computer room whereas three would do to meet the tonnage requirements. This is so you can have one in reserve for breakdowns and/or be able to shutdown one for servicing.
Just some thoughts.
