Steve, how can you tell if the used GTB you picked up is the one with Li-Po cutoff circuitry?

Just imagine all the areas of the track you could motor him down ...pic of the layout and the new mesh canopies.

Um, there are a couple ways to tell:

The first way is to look at the PC board from the bottom... I'm farmilliar with boy versions and can tell the difference...but I don't think you could do the same... just because you're not farmilliar with them.

The second way is to power it up and press and hold the setup button ... keep holding it through the adjustment sequences ...i f the red and yellow LEDs light up together that esc has the lipo cut off circuitry and software built into it.

Third way is if it is a spread spectrum version GTB...those all have Lipo built into them.

If you see me around somewhere just let me take a look at it.

OK...got another more general-interest question...

I just swapped my SS+ speed control last week and got a "SuperSport 2" in exchange. It looks like an XBR to me...but I'll play along...LOL...

Anyways, the XBR has LiPo cutoff, right? Does the SuperSport 2 have it as well? I looked for the instructions on the website, but I didn't see them.

It fits very differently...but it actually fits the Lazer a little better. I had to turn it sideways and run the receiver outboard of it. It's nice having the terminals on top and a fan connector.

Hey Steve,
