Thanks,

Eric,
I understand. I like visual stimulation also. I have no one to blame but myself for the lack of pictures.

Default new Q

I finally got a chance to drive my Q12, which I rebuilt with the .110" chassis. It's even better than it was before; with the 3mm cross brace on old style arms it seems to have better mid corner steering. I haven't done any "solid object dynamic compression testing" yet but I'm sure that will come
Thanks, Doug, for a fine product.

O'D
I've always been a fan of the old style front end. The PRC cross brace is what that front end needed. You are right, it does provide more steering. I've also shaved .080" off the bottom of the arms to gain some room for ride height adjustment. Now I can run small tires on the front and still have enough ride height.

Funny you should mention that, we were just trying to figure out a good way to do it ourselves. I think the way to go is to cut them with 2 degrees of caster so you don't need shims.

I was going to try that next. I have 2 degrees of negative camber in the set I did. Tire wear is good and even from side to side.

try a 20 thousandths shimm under the front spring It will keep the front strapped down like a limiter and will help the car keep the car flatter and tighter comming out!
Man that was the ticket. It help the car come out of the corner alot better. Speedxl thanks for all the help man. The car was super hooked last night.

Barry,
I do them on a small milling machine. The milling machine makes a great brush cutter also although, not very portable.

Default milling old style arms

any chance of me paying you to do 3 sets of these for me to use on my Quad12 (I always like spares of front arms, even though the old style don't break easy)?
