You can find my 17.5 boosted setup in this forum. Just lower your rollout to the 65-75mm range and you should be fine. Watch your temps though, in the first few runs. My motor comes off at 140F.

Default HOBBYWING XERUN Black V2 Brushless Motor 60A ESC SL963

HOBBYWING XERUN Black V2 Brushless Motor 60A ESC SL963

Does this ESC work with 1S Li-Po?
In the specs I can't read that.
I want to use it in WGT with a 10.5T, EFRA-rules Europe.

Any setup available for that on this forum? (to start off with)

The 60A is 2s-3S, the 120A is available in both 2s-3s and 1s-2s ( http://www.hobbywing.com/english/Pro...%28Sensored%29 )

The 1s-2s has a BEC booster, the other two don't have it, but work in 1s if you add an external BEC booster.

I looked at the website.
As I see it the only option then is the XERUN-120A-1S-SD (V2.1) Brushless ESC for 1/12 and 1/12 Car (Competitive Race)?

Same old question but here it is again. What is the starting point for TC with 120Av2.1 / SP13.5v3 and 930 software on both a tight short tarmac track and a med length open course?

Thanks
Michael

Go back a page to my orca setup.

Make sure the SP is fully advanced on the timing. Also, go lower on the FDR, maybe around 6.8??

Default HW extreme stock

- can it be used with a 1S LiPo?
- what to use than with it, booster or RX pack?
- what software for this esc, in case of 1S LiPo?
- or just buy HW 120A 1S? (right software and no external booster or rx pack)

Any suggested setups for a X12 17.5 motor running the V3 9030 stock software.

I use to run a SP V3 17.5 and got it running nicely, but I doubt the same settings will work with a X12 17.5 motor.

Thx.

Just run 508 zero timing software... If you want more, gear accordingly and add motor timing if it has it..

First off sorry if this has been asked before...

I race at a track where I run 10th touring car on carpet with a 120a with pretty much everything maxxed with a ratio around 8.

I am going to try my hand at 12th using a 1s and I was wondering what settings people recommend for 10.5 and 6.5 motors.

Looking to understand what software I should use for each with the lower powered 3.7v battery etc.
