In full scale racing, we'd use steering rack blocks to lock the steering in place when scaling the car and setting the cross weights. Otherwise you'll chase your tail when trying to adjust them, if the steering moves.

I would have never of thunk it. I just put the car on a level surface, make sure the front wheels are pointing straight ahead, bounce the suspension a few times and check my settings. The built in resistance at the servo is enough to keep the wheels straight and bouncing the suspension should leave it in a neutral position. Besides, I would just find a way to bump the radio any way and away she goes.

Wow.... The tc4 in the videos is on ice... No traction at all... I had the same problem with my car on asphalt(FBF) when I used the AE shocks with two hole pistons and thick oil(80wt) or 40wt... I guess putting more holes in the pistons will reduce pack, and increase traction, but without the BERT mods, it will be impossible to catch the other cars over there......

Is there some way to stop these nonsense posts on this thread? I don't just mean using the ignore button, but stopping the spreading of these false improvements that others might take seriously...

I wish. Oh how I wish.

Empirical facts mean nothing to him. He's the expert in everything and actual racer of nothing. He has no sources for his information.

It's really amazing.

I thought reducing pack equates to reduced traction to a certain given threshold? This doesn't make any sense.
