I use a diggity lipo tray with ae tc5 posts and top brace to hold my lipo, I dont toque it down, battery has room to move around a tiny bit when chassis flexes. The AE TC5 lipo tray can also be used with some small mods.

If your lipo is hitting the top plate then its way to big and probably not legal for racing.

A FTTC4 chassis & top plate weigh around 105g, how much does your DC4 chassis and top plate weigh ?? Everything else is the same, so curious on how much lighter the DC4 chassis is to claim the car will be MUCH lighter.

Smile

The dc4 le chassis does not use the four aluminum diff case spacers and also uses left carbon fiber on both decks and no Center spline... That's a good 120grams Off in my book...

LOL

Aluminum camber link mounts ?? all 4 weigh 14g, DC4 requires you to cut down the plastic ones which weigh 8g ... a weight savings of 6g !!!

The Center Spline on the TC4 is optional as are the top deck standoffs, you dont need to use them if you want more flex, shocked that u didnt know that.

Don't be mad because you failed to win that Bmain brother. If you had a dc4 le then , you would have won.... By the way, the dc4 le gives you the opportunity to use the shocktower instead of the plastic pieces that you said had to be cutoff...
The dc4 le total weight has been posted, and there is no way your Car(not an original tc4) will ever get close to it in my BOOK !!! Try to do better at the next iic , and then pass 1000 posts, before talking here....lol... Why aren't you running 17.5 anyway ??? Afraid to step up or is your so called tc4 too heavy ???
We need all the tc4 owners to post the weight of their cars to see if they can come close to 1050grams without a battery pack...... Good luck ....

7. its not about quantity, its the quality

It's complete, picture a few pages back. It races 17.5 just fine, but needs tuning. The car has shown it is quite durable though... I will race it in Vegas.
