I here you Olly, that's why I have tamiya TRF shocks on my mod tc4 ... As far as running 17.5/stock, boosted or not , you won't be disappointed with a tc4 tub or Ft edition, just make sure you run your front spool with losi(#losa3344) lcd drives, and you will keep up with anybody as long as you get your tc4 close to the minimum weight limit...

We need some info.

Which motor and esc, Track difficulty (ie tight, small, open, flowing, large etc.)

and What part of the track are you having problems with?

sorry, it is the stock motor and esc. well stock everything actully. track is tight, smaller. they change the track up each week but with the space we have it will always be small and tight.

well for my own driven I am having issues with cornering, but even on straight aways I have way less power then everyone else.

Hi there raptor, the stock reedy radon motor needs to be geared a little higher to reach its full potential: you can try putting a 26t to 28t 48p pinion in there first so you can have more speed. If you run a lipo pack, you will need to service your motor often, but a little trick I found is to put a small amount of Zmaxx oil on your commutator will stop it from burning period: I ran one Zmaxx oiled Reedy Radon motor with a fully charged 4S pack for five minutes, and it did not burn the commutator !!! Apart from that , you will need to get a setup sheet and go through the car little by little to get it running right , eventhough your gear is still at RTR level.....

Sorry Rtaylor, I thought your name was raptor.... Also, you will need to keep the weight of the car as close to minimum weight as possible (1380grams)...

Killer Deal. My setup uses 17lb front and 12lb rear springs Don't know the tamiya equivalent.

But my VTA setup is one or 2 pages back
