1. Drill and tap a small hole in the assoc caps I already have to allow the use of a set screw from the bunch I have in spare parts from old pinions. (hence the verification from raving monkey)
Since I couldn't get any more Yokomo caps, I took the stock TC4 cap and drilled it the same as the Yok cap, then tapped it partially for a 2-56 thread - if you don't tap it all the way through, it seals better. I then cut down a 2-56 cap screw to a length that ended up just coming through the other side of the plastic. I ended up with the same thing as the Yokomo cap, but made for free with stuff I had laying around. It worked exactly the same. I thought about using a set screw, but I like the positive stop when the cap screw hits the shock cap. I might try the same thing on the aluminum caps just for the hell of it.

will the Team Factory TC4 have bevel battery slots. Some other nice features would be a centered hole to check tweak like on the L4 and milled area for battery taping. This would interest me.

Will the new aluminum ball link mounts be pinned into the upper cf deck like the the TC4 stock wing braces were to the lower diff bulk head? One thing I like about the stock TC4 is the fact it wont tweak easy.

No, you will have to bevel the slots yourself. Yes, the Camber Link mounts will key into the bulkheads.

jag8. We have to leave SOMETHING for you to do!!! And, as far as I know, NO car manufacturer bevels the chassis slots...this 'labor' would raise the price of the kit. So, we decided to keep the costs down for you, the consumer, and let you choose to do it or not.

labour? it would take the CNC mills an extra 2 mins to mill a 45 deg 'bevel' on the battery slots
