Of course you can. Why wouldn't they work???

Common sense test:

1. Do the bars reach from cell to cell?

2. Are the bars made of metal?

If the answers to #1 and #2 are both yes then they will work.

Hrmmm, Question.

If a weiner comes into the thread what do you do?

A. Attempt to ignore the wiener.

B. Feel sorry for the wiener that he has nothing better to do then post stupid remarks.

C. Make fun of the wiener for having nothing better to do then post stupid remarks.

D. All of the above

Answer = D

You eat the wiener with ketchup and mustard.

Nothing personal man...just had to jab fun at the question...

ITs all good

THe reason I asked is that I was under the impression that the bars had different sizes to them to match with different battery length/heights.

Nah....any bar will work with any sub-c cell.

They may not touch perfectly in the center of each cell and may be more toward the outside of the button, however they all still make full contact and work 100% a-ok.

Deans does make two types for different cells. The difference is...one version is higher on one side than the other to account for the raised positive terminal on the older cells (red/green 3300s). The second version is even because the positive terminal is more flush with the edges of the battery like the negative side. Either version will work...one just fits/looks better.

Hello,

I know that GP 3700 are bigger than 3300 and some manufacturers (like X-ray or Corally) release new chassis for theses cells.
Will AE do the same things for the TC4 ?? The current chassis can receive these cells but this is not really good.

I hope not - I'd rather see the cells hit the standard size than have to change chassis every time a battery manufacturer decides that they can't be standard

Oh yes, let's have the BATTERY companies dictate CHASSIS versioning. . .good idea.

I'm still in the process of putting all the Carbon parts on my car. Yes, it's been a looong time.

But my concern is with the receiver antenna. Won't in glitch by touching the Carbon chassis when it goes through the hole? Any alternative to wiring up the antenna? Or, should I just leave it?

I have 2 TC4's, with graphite, and have had no glitch problems using the stock mount.

Default John Bull....

where can I order a Fast Tracks motor mount. I got a BMI upper deck and it won't fit using the AE upper motor mount.

Thanks.

Considering the fact that the battery manufactures do not make the batteries for our industry, this may be a little difficult.

Batteries are made for other, much, much, much larger markets, RC'ers just happen to use the batteries as well.
