setups
Ive been readin that stock setups normally are softer wiht more chassis roll. Which kinda makes sense for the setups that Im seein being posted. But I dont understand how like the Novak Setups are sooo much softer than any mod setup Ive ever seen. Is that just what this car likes? Tonight will be the first soft setup Ive ran on this car...we will see how it works.

I personall build mine to rebound all the way slowly. I will get each shock close with the eye, and then work each shaft up and down a few times. After that I will "drag race" them. Compress each shock down on the table, and lift up at the same time, and see which shaft reaches bottom first, bleed just a tad out, and repeat until equal.

What I did about the rebound:
I assembled them, and then tipped the shock at 45 deg angle, with it compressed, and slowly unscrewed the cap until I could hear air escaping, then tightened them up again.
I had to do this a couple of times, and add oil to one of the shocks and repeated the process once. I did this and managed to get both shock to rebound at approximately the same rate. Nice and slow, and not to full extension. I think the most important part is that both shocks at whichever end match from side to side...

so does using the yok bladder caps. . .

ive found bleed screws a right pain in the ass to use......bladders are the way to go, im suprised AE haven't picked up on this.
i can sense tamiya shocks making their way onto my tc4....i really did like them.
AE shocks would be awesome if they had bladders..i may give brokomo shock caps a go before i splash out on some tamiya shocks (70 notes in the UK ..i think i'd be ordering from mushroom )

What Tamiya shocks work with a TC4? Do you think they are better shocks?
