TC4 buyers check this out. Should anyone have the TC4 in their basket at Towerhobbies, check the partnumber and price. The one I just removed was number LNHZB9 and it was still priced at 306$ (I preordered one from Speedtechrc instead. Shameless plug I know, how about some discount. )
Thanks andsetinn,

Our price is estimated, so usually we try to go conservative and estimate high on the pre-order price. They usually come in lower than estimated, and worst case scenario, never nigher than the pre-order price.

also, spoke with a bud that works at AE, and they are still on schedule with the Sept. release date. In fact, he says they are finishing up the packaging right now

Cool

Reserved a TC4 through the LHS.

As the kit comes with rubber sealed bearings, I might look into some ceramic bearings. Would Acer be the way to go? $100 for a complete kit with free shipping on their website right now.

For those in the UK, Olly Jefferies is building his TC4 as i write, and he will be racing at Donington this weekend. Still on for an end of October release date !

I run rubber sealed racer kit bearings & they work awesome, you just gotta take the time to make sure everything is free from binding, clean & lube the bearings well, by the way i tried a set of acer bearings & they were terrible no matter what i did to them, even what acer told me to do with them, but maybe i got a bad set, although i have heard many other complaints that they are all bound up when you get them from acer also, i sent mine back.
