Where is the part number for the Strap/Tape holder? the one in the picture kinda looks like a roller on top of the hooks.

The new springs for the S411 are those the same as the RSD/MR springs. Looks similar because of color coding?

New kits have better plastics. original arms are no good. not front ones. there is no brace like the rear near the outer part near the hubs. front will flex and twist. i have already thrown out original new front arms . M and H arms are a great tuning tool. use the harder arms on the end your looking to reduce grip, and use M for the end that you want the grip. but one at a time.

I was told from the beginning that just tape is enough to hold the batteries on the chassis when using smooth bottomed lipos. Judging by the successful sales of the above part, it looks like others share my skeptism about that fact.
In other words, I'm waiting for the S411TE which I expect will have the problems with the spur gear, the problems with the gear diff, the problems with the plastics and the problem with the battery holder...FIXED.

I've been watching this thread from time to time looking to maybe get one to replace my XRay, but this statement only tells me that I am glad not to jump in so early on the initial release. I'm still looking to get one eventually but I'm waiting for all the bugs to be worked out. I learned this from my experience with the 733 and the 966. Notice how the new TE editions of both have all the options on it as standard and for the 733 all the new material for its plastics which were problematic in the beginning.

Hi racecees1.
YES - it will also work with a 13,5 motor. We have raced the car with this setup also with a 5,5 T GM Pro (one of the most powerfull 5,5 T motors you can find), and the car performed FANTASTIC. With the second(!) battery made a new track record by more than 1,5 second. A track, where we race 10-15 batteries every week!!! Third battery also under the old record. Fifth battery will follow next week. The old record was sat with our previous car - the 417.
As you see, the setup works great also with a mod motor, so a 13,5 T motor is the same. We will test some more settings, but allready this is VERY fast.

Servo Saver
Hi All,
Are most people using the stock steering setup, Or using a servo saver in place of the servo arm that comes in the kit?
Thanks,
