If you put them on, as a pair, one way, you get 1.5. If you swap them left to right, you get 0.5.

I think if I load up the ERYX 5.5 turn and pin it......the tank MAY win.

Default Short shock absorbers

Fellow ERYX owners

Has anyone tested with other shock absorbers?

Some feedback please.

had my first run with the ERYX and I must say, the car handles very very well. I was 7 second off the pace for the A main and came in second in the B. I know I will do better next time.

Hey guys,
Just bought a s411 te, any thing that must be done or bought right off the bat, any parts that are breaking easily or need to be replaced. Let me know, not racing this weekend because still need to get spares and body painted but want to be ready for next weekend.
Thanks,

Try to have the new arms, they are superb, you can feel in your hand that they are much better than the previous ones.

you should have extra c hubs and steering blocks also if you dont have a set of CDJ in the car get a set. and when you put them in shave the C hubs so that you will have clearance when you turn.

Thanks,
In addition to what the others have added, I would get some additional shock spacers and eliminate one of the o-rings in the lower shock assembly. I would also consider a set of Tamiya bladders as well and then drill the top cap for a zero rebound setup. If your running mod class, I would also get a spare set of bearings for the spur gear idler assembly. The rest of the car is pretty solid.

Gary, are you running the tamiya bladders in the new short shocks as well?

Yes, the only reason I run them is because the lip profile is more rounded so it makes it a lot easier to get to top cap over the seal when its being assembled. I did not find any performance difference, just easier to put together. I did change the bottom seals in the new shocks to the old clear ones over the blacks. The blacks just seemed to get hard and leaked more than the clear ones.
