Can you discharge 4 cells on the tray?

Yes you can discharge 4 cells - use them all the way to the right on the tray.

I have my bars and wires on the packs and just have to load it right and it works just fine. Like that I do not have to stand over it watching it.

I love the disclaimer about the dead shorting from novak - a good way to cover their but.

I like the tray much better than my trinity I have. Do not use the dead short due to running stock 1/12 scale but a friend has used it and says that he can tell a difference in the packs and punch.

I got mine for $75 form local hobby shop.

For the technology deeper than just what it does is quite remarkable and for the price a good value.

I got mine on Friday and used it during a race. It's very cool and very easy to use. Yeah, maybe Rayspeed is a bit cheaper, but you have to mess with the thumb screws. Forget that!!! Well worth the money on the Smart Tray.

I have an XRAY and no problem at all.

Hold the button on the tray in whule you plug it in,and it will go to dead short.

hold down the selector button when plugging it in, then it should come up DS i think... or it will be an option when you cycle through the cut-off's atleast... i know you have to hold down the button while plugging it in though

Using discharge trays that do individual cutoff and conditioning are a must if you want your batteries to perform consistently. Yokomos rayspeed and integy eagle racing also make great individual cutoff discharge trays that work excellent. Consider also an integy 30amp discharger (reactor) that helps out with cycling packs.

Integy has an "indi zero-thirty" discharge tray. Is this comparable to the rayspeed and novak smart tray. It looks like it discharges each cell at 30A ... any comments. Has anyone tried one yet?

I got one and i think they are really good, my cells are much better and more consitant, its definatly worth the investment

ya, lol But i think the tray is self explanatory.. But if you wanted to change the cutoff i guess you would need to read manual. lol.

I think my Novak Smart Tray was a good investment as well.

well, I am running year old packs and I am trying to get some life into them so I figured I would ds them.....
